Our history
Simon Ford began his career in civil construction in 2010 as a field laborer, quickly advancing into estimating roles where his precision and problem-solving skills stood out. Over the years, he mastered all aspects of underground utilities, drainage, grading, and roadway construction, steadily moving into senior-level estimating and project support positions.
From 2015 to 2023, Simon specialized in large-scale infrastructure and transportation projects, providing civil estimating, drainage takeoffs, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) planning, and innovative technical solutions that improved bid competitiveness and project efficiency.
Holding an MBA, Simon blends technical expertise with strategic business insight, enabling him to guide clients through both operational and financial aspects of construction and business growth.
In 2024, he founded SF Consulting to provide contractors, developers, and small businesses with high-accuracy estimating, contract review, scope-of-work development, and startup guidance. Today, his work bridges the gap between construction expertise and strategic business consulting, helping clients achieve both immediate project wins and long-term success.
